It’s Back to School time! You’ve stocked up on glue sticks, paper, pencils, and notebooks. If you homeschool, you probably even have the curriculum laid out and ready to go. What about inspirational items that help your bright, young student share and live their faith? There are so many negative messages swirling around today. Start your child’s school year off right with a gift filled with positive, Christian messages.

Walmart has an answer for faith-based products that allow you to live your faith through home decor, cards, and gift-giving items. DaySpring’s Christian Celebration products can now be found in the card and stationery section of select Walmart locations. How convenient is that?! With boxed cards, home decor, stuffed animals, devotional books, prayer journals, mugs, pillows, and more, there are gift items available for all ages and occasions — including your student starting back to school!

How to get Christian inspiration into the school year

Our family has a few traditions that make our first day of the school year special. One of those is to have a small gift waiting for the kids at the beginning of the first day of school. It’s never anything huge — just something to get their year started off on a positive note. What better way to do that than with a faith-based product?!

Notepads, pens, scripture cards, bookmarks, and key chains all tuck nicely into one of the DaySpring cups creating a perfect gift item! To make cute gift cups, I simply placed pieces of newspaper into the bottom of the cup as a filler and added a few faith-inspired products on top. You can add a little extra color and flair by stuffing paper clippings intended for gift baskets around the items. (See first pic for details)

Moms need a little inspiration too during this busy season. While I was shopping for a few items for the kids, I found this book from DaySpring called Delicious Devotions. It’s filled with prayers, devotionals, recipes, and gorgeous photographs. I love to decorate the house with books, and this one makes a gorgeous coffee table book!
