How to Start And Grow a Blog

I love being a blogger, but rarely write about actually blogging. If you have been considering blogging, or just started a blog recently, I have a great resource from over 30 bloggers to show you how to start your blog as well as how to grow your blog. Pretty exciting, huh?

how to blog

Starting a website about parenting, marriage, recipes and home-making is something I wish I had done years before. It seriously is one of those things that has made my world a little bit happier.

My whole family is involved in this blogging adventure. Just today I was brainstorming with my kids about an upcoming recipe. Everyone took time and gave their thoughtful opinions, and my ten-year-old put out the most amazingly clever touch to the recipe! We all “oohed and aahed” at her creative idea! Then we ended up giggling about how much we enjoy this blog project together. We really have a lot of fun!

Since I was engaged to be married, I have been consuming books about parenting, marriage, home-making and cooking. I absolutely LOVE to talk about theses things with other ladies and discuss what works for our family and what works for them. Many times another mom and I have looked at each other as light bulbs went off over a new home-making or parenting idea. How much more fun is it to be able to talk to thousands of moms about this and communicate with them over, and over, and over again?

If you are a mom who desires to stay at home with her kids, but also wants to make an income for her family, please take some time to think and pray about joining the blogging adventure. It’s not an easy adventure, and making money does not happen overnight. But, it’s an adventure that could possibly help your family in such a financial way that you could stay at home and still provide for your family’s needs.

I am blessed to know many bloggers, and my blogging friends make anywhere from $300 per month to a full-time income. Plus, you get all kinds of perks for being a blogger like meeting other like-minded moms, free products, traveling opportunities and more! It’s seriously one of the best jobs in the world for a woman who has a passion for writing, crafting, cooking or mothering.

Do you love chatting about mom stuff? Do you love to write? Do you enjoy connecting with others on social media? Do you enjoy sharing recipes? Consider blogging.

Don’t know where to start? It’s OK, I didn’t either. I just jumped in with both feet and started blogging. As time went on, kind, wise, professional bloggers took me under their wings and gave me tips and tricks that completely transformed my blog and thinking. To those people, I am very grateful.

Today, I have an AWESOME opportunity for you. I have had several moms and new bloggers write me with basic questions about how to get started. Just about everything you need to know is in this book that was written by 30 bloggers — yes, that’s right — 30! All these bloggers share their creative ideas and encourage you to reach for the next level in blogging, which for some of you may just be STARTING a blog. It covers that too!
