I love muffins. I mean looooooooovvvvvvvvvvveeeeee them! These triple chocolate banana nut muffins are perfect for a chocolatey-get-up-and-go morning. And moms need those, don’t we?
My kids love waking up to home-made muffins, but I don’t always have oodles of time in the morning to whip them up — even though they are pretty easy-peasy to make. But I have a secret. A secrety-secret. I bake the muffins the night before and toss them in the oven just a few minutes before my kids wake up so they can still enjoy a warm, home-made muffin. Shhhh! Don’t tell my secret! ;0)
And when kids know a homemade muffin awaits them for breakfast, they’re extra quick to jump out of bed and head to the dining table. So there you go, another mom hack for you today: get your kids out of the bed with a fresh batch of chocolate muffins!

My kids did watch me bake this batch of muffins because they couldn’t wait to finish off the chocolate milk.
