This Crockpot teriyaki chicken is an easy, hands-off dinner that practically makes itself in the slow cooker. Ingredients

  • 1 bag of boneless skinless chicken tenderloins or breasts (about 2.5 lb)
  • ¾ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp dried garlic
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp corn starch (or more to desired thickness) combined with 2 tbsp of water.
  • 3 tbsp Orange Juice

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in Crock Pot.
  2. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, white sugar, garlic, and pepper together and pour mixture over the chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until chicken is tender.
  4. After the chicken has cooked, remove the chicken and set aside.
  5. In a small saucepan, bring the teriyaki sauce to a boil, then turn the mixture on low and simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Then, stir in the OJ.
  7. Now, gradually add the corn starch mixture until the sauce reaches the desired thickness.
  8. Serve with white rice and stir-fried broccoli.
