- 1 bag of boneless skinless chicken tenderloins or breasts (about 2.5 lb)
- ¾ cup low sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1 tsp dried garlic
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp corn starch (or more to desired thickness) combined with 2 tbsp of water.
- 3 tbsp Orange Juice
Instructions
- Place chicken in Crock Pot.
- Mix soy sauce, vinegar, white sugar, garlic, and pepper together and pour mixture over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until chicken is tender.
- After the chicken has cooked, remove the chicken and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, bring the teriyaki sauce to a boil, then turn the mixture on low and simmer for a few minutes.
- Then, stir in the OJ.
- Now, gradually add the corn starch mixture until the sauce reaches the desired thickness.
- Serve with white rice and stir-fried broccoli.
