- 8 regular-sized tea bags
- 1½ cup sugar
- Juice from 6 limes
- Fresh mint or raspberries for a flavor twist and cute garnish
Instructions
- In 4 qt sauce pan or large tea kettle, boil water and tea bags together.
- After boiling, let steep for five minutes.
- Add sugar to a one gallon tea pitcher.
- Next, add boiled tea.
- Add enough drinking water to equal one gallon of tea.
- Now, add lime juice.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Serve over ice and garnish with mint sprigs if desired.
- Best served very, very cold with lots of ice!
