- 1 red bell pepper cut into thin strips
- 1 green pepper cut into thin strips
- 1 large onion cut into thin strips
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Hoagie Buns or Baguette
- Olive Oil
Instructions
- Saute half of the onions, half of the peppers, and half of the chicken in four Tablespoons of olive oil in one large skillet.
- Once peppers and onions are tender and chicken is cooked through, remove from heat and add one cup of mozzarella cheese.
- Stir until melted.
- Repeat process for remaining peppers, onions and chicken.
- Once all the chicken and peppers are cooked, place on mayonnaised bread and enjoy!
- If you want to be extra sneaky, thinly slice some mozzarella and layer on top of philly cheesesteak.
- Then, toast in oven at 350°F until cheese is melted. (That is my personal, crunchy bread preference!)
