Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 red bell pepper cut into thin strips
  • 1 green pepper cut into thin strips
  • 1 large onion cut into thin strips
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Hoagie Buns or Baguette
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Saute half of the onions, half of the peppers, and half of the chicken in four Tablespoons of olive oil in one large skillet.
  2. Once peppers and onions are tender and chicken is cooked through, remove from heat and add one cup of mozzarella cheese.
  3. Stir until melted.
  4. Repeat process for remaining peppers, onions and chicken.
  5. Once all the chicken and peppers are cooked, place on mayonnaised bread and enjoy!
  6. If you want to be extra sneaky, thinly slice some mozzarella and layer on top of philly cheesesteak.
  7. Then, toast in oven at 350°F until cheese is melted. (That is my personal, crunchy bread preference!)
