Ingredients
Scale
- Frozen Parmesan Herb Encrusted Chicken Strips (25 oz)
- 1 jar of fave spaghetti sauce (I used traditional for this recipe)
- 1 box linguine noodles
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Italian seasoning
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Prepare several 12 x 18 in. pieces of heavy duty aluminum foil. (You’ll need one piece of foil for each piece of chicken.)
- Place one piece of pre-cooked and pre-breaded chicken onto a piece of foil.
- Spoon ½ cup pasta sauce over the chicken.
- Sprinkle a generous portion of mozzarella over the sauce.
- Add a few dashes of Italian seasoning.
- Seal the foil around the chicken by wrapping it at the middle and along both ends.
- Repeat these steps for each piece of chicken.
- Place the foil packets on a large baking tray and bake for 18-23 minutes.
- While the chicken packets are cooking, cook the linguine noodles according to the package instructions.
- Drain and toss the noodles with a generous amount of olive oil.
- Let the chicken packets sit for 5-10 minutes after removing them from the oven.
- Pour the contents of the packet over a serving of linguine.
- If desired, extra sauce and cheese can be added.
