Ingredients

Scale
  • Frozen Parmesan Herb Encrusted Chicken Strips (25 oz)
  • 1 jar of fave spaghetti sauce (I used traditional for this recipe)
  • 1 box linguine noodles
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Prepare several 12 x 18 in. pieces of heavy duty aluminum foil. (You’ll need one piece of foil for each piece of chicken.)
  3. Place one piece of pre-cooked and pre-breaded chicken onto a piece of foil.
  4. Spoon ½ cup pasta sauce over the chicken.
  5. Sprinkle a generous portion of mozzarella over the sauce.
  6. Add a few dashes of Italian seasoning.
  7. Seal the foil around the chicken by wrapping it at the middle and along both ends.
  8. Repeat these steps for each piece of chicken.
  9. Place the foil packets on a large baking tray and bake for 18-23 minutes.
  10. While the chicken packets are cooking, cook the linguine noodles according to the package instructions.
  11. Drain and toss the noodles with a generous amount of olive oil.
  12. Let the chicken packets sit for 5-10 minutes after removing them from the oven.
  13. Pour the contents of the packet over a serving of linguine.
  14. If desired, extra sauce and cheese can be added.
