Ingredients

  • 2 lb 80/20 ground beef, if using lean, you will need to add one or two tablespoons of oil to your meat mixture
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until thoroughly combined.
  2. Shape into six burgers that are approximately ¼ inch thick.
  3. In large skillet, heat two tablespoons of cooking oil on medium high heat and then add the burgers, 2-3 at a time, depending on the size of your skillet.
  4. Cook on medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes, then flip to opposite side and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes. Enjoy!
