Salted Caramel Twix Cookies

Drizzles of caramel, chocolate and sweetened condensed milk make these salted caramel Twix cookies irresistible! They’re perfect for parties or just a slow and lazy day at home!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 3¼ cup all purpose flour, sifted
  • kosher salt
  • caramel drizzle
  • melted chocolate
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Add egg yolk and continue to mix.
  3. Add orange juice and mix.
  4. Slowly add sifted flour, one cup at a time.
  5. Mix until throughly combined.
  6. Scoop dough into 2 tbsp balls. Make a well with the back of the scoop or use a tablespoon spoon.
  7. Make a well (or small indentations) with the back of the scoop or use a tablespoon.
  8. Chill balls of dough on waxed paper lined cookie sheet for 20 minutes.
  9. Bake on parchment lined cookie sheet at 375°F for 12-15 minutes or until bottoms of cookies are golden brown.
  10. Remove cookies from oven and indent them again. Let cookies cool completely.
  11. Add one teaspoon of sweetened condensed milk to each cookie.
  12. Drizzle with desired amount of melted chocolate.
  13. Drizzle with desired amount of caramel.
  14. Sprinkle kosher salt on top of each cookie.
  15. Refrigerate or flash freeze cookies util chocolate and caramel is set.
  16. Serve immediately or store in fridge or freezer.
