WHY MAKE SAUSAGE STIR-FRY?
Eckrich Smoked Sausage is convenient and easy to cook, pairs perfectly with veggies, and the flavors of sausage really come out in a simple, stir fry recipe!
And we’ve included our secret ingredient that makes all stir-fry recipes taste a little bit better.
Ready for it?
But when we lived in Southeast Asia, everyone…I mean everyone…was sprinkling this into their stir-fry recipes.
I had to try it too!
And we’ve tried stir-fry recipes without chicken bouillon, and it’s just not the same.
Don’t leave out that ingredient! And the best part about stir-fry is that you can stop being so particular about measurements!
Measuring has definitely been an optional thing for me.
Between juggling work-at-home duties and helping the kids with school, there’s rarely time to flip through cookbooks or find the perfect recipe.
And I’ll be painfully honest.
When I do have a meal plan in mind, more often than not, life gets in the way and I’m rummaging through the fridge and pantry to find ingredients for a last-minute recipe idea.
And so many times, I’ve made a stir-fry because the ingredients are always simple, fresh and readily available.
But on those days when I do try a new recipe, I rarely, if ever, go exactly by the measurements listed.
We all have our different taste preferences, so you’ll rarely find a recipe online that first your family’s taste buds perfectly.
THIS SAUSAGE AND VEGGIE STIR FRY RECIPE IS SO EASY!
Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and eyeball your ingredients!
Just ask my kids…
When they race to grab a measuring cup, I grin, shake my head, and tell them REAL cooks don’t need to measure!
We rely on experience and taste!
Can I get an Amen right there?!
And please do me a favor and stop buying the pre-packaged, frozen stir fry packages at the grocery store.
Please, pretty please?
Instead, grab your favorite Eckrich Smoked Sausage (because this saves SO much time) and add freshly cut veggies!
IT’S EASY TO MAKE HOMEMADE STIR-FRY!
When you add fresh veggies and your own seasonings, those frozen blends can’t stand a chance.
On a busy weeknight, I can literally get a sausage veggie stir-fry on the table in less than 30 minutes. No joke.
And the stir-fry hits the table even faster if I’ve washed, chopped and prepped everything beforehand. That’s the most time-consuming part.
If you know you have an incredibly busy day, take a few minutes and prep the sausage and veggies beforehand. If there’s no time for that, or you forgot to prep, no worries! You can still get this easy, stir fry recipe on the table quick!
And there’s no thawing out frozen meat, because Eckrich Smoked Sausage is always ready to simply dice, chop and cook!
