In this stir-fry recipe, we’re using one of our favorite protein choices — sausage!

But when we lived in Southeast Asia, everyone…I mean everyone…was sprinkling this into their stir-fry recipes.
I had to try it too!

Between juggling work-at-home duties and helping the kids with school, there’s rarely time to flip through cookbooks or find the perfect recipe.

When I do have a meal plan in mind, more often than not, life gets in the way and I’m rummaging through the fridge and pantry to find ingredients for a last-minute recipe idea.
And so many times, I’ve made a stir-fry because the ingredients are always simple, fresh and readily available.
But on those days when I do try a new recipe, I rarely, if ever, go exactly by the measurements listed.
We all have our different taste preferences, so you’ll rarely find a recipe online that first your family’s taste buds perfectly.

We rely on experience and taste!

IT’S EASY TO MAKE HOMEMADE STIR-FRY!
When you add fresh veggies and your own seasonings, those frozen blends can’t stand a chance.
On a busy weeknight, I can literally get a sausage veggie stir-fry on the table in less than 30 minutes. No joke.
And the stir-fry hits the table even faster if I’ve washed, chopped and prepped everything beforehand. That’s the most time-consuming part.
If you know you have an incredibly busy day, take a few minutes and prep the sausage and veggies beforehand. If there’s no time for that, or you forgot to prep, no worries! You can still get this easy, stir fry recipe on the table quick!

- 1 1/2-2 cups Eckrich Original Skinless Smoked Sausage Rope, diced
- 1 or 2 large carrots, diced
- 1 broccoli crown, diced
- 1 cauliflower crown, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 Tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
- 2 splashes fresh lime juice
- a few tablespoons water
- salt, to taste
- In large skillet or wok, stir-fry sausage and onions on medium-high heat until cooked.
- Add veggies and remaining ingredients and stir-fry until veggies are crisp-tender.
- Serve with Jasmine rice.
