This fruit pizza recipe is super simple and requires few ingredients!

Ingredients Needed for Fruit Pizza Flag

  • 1 package of sugar cookie dough. Or you can make homemade, sugar cookie dough with this recipe.
  • 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (please use REAL extract!)
  • 1-pint strawberries
  • 1-pint blueberries
  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream

How to Make American Flag Fruit Pizza

Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

This gets the oven ready to bake the perfect fruit pizza crust.

Step 2: Line a baking sheet and roll cookie dough.

This creates the sugar cookie base of your fruit pizza.

Step 3 :Bake cookie crust for 15-20 minutes until done.

We’re getting closer to some yummy, fruit pizza!

Step 4: Beat filling ingredients together.

In a medium bowl beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Try not to lick the whisk when you’re done! :)

Step 5: Wash the blueberries and slice the strawberries.

This will be your fruity topping!

Step 6: Let cookie cool completely. 

This is the hardest step because it requires waiting…:)

Then spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie.

Then decorate the cookie as shown in the picture with fruit.

Then with a pastry bag with a star tip pipe whipping cream in between fruit.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • 1 pkg of sugar cookie dough
  • 1 8 oz package of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1-pint strawberries
  • 1-pint blueberries
  • 2 cup Heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll cookie dough out in a rectangle shape.
  3. Bake cookie for 15-20 minutes until done.
  4. In a medium bowl beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Wash the fruit and slice the strawberries.
  6. Let cookie cool completely.  Then spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie.
  7. Decorate the cookie as shown in the picture with fruit
  8. Using a pastry bag with a star tip, pipe whipping cream in between fruit.
