Chocolate Covered Strawberries are Simple to Make!
Strawberries are always a decadent treat in themselves!
I’ve even taken my favorite batch of strawberries and made these strawberry cheesecake turnovers…incredibly good!
And taking a gorgeous fruit and dipping it in chocolate just makes everything better.
You can even use this same recipe to make chocolate-dipped blueberries! I highly recommend this frozen blueberry version!
If you’re on a chocolate dipping journey, try something a little dangerous with our chocolate-dipped cheesecake bites! But, everything in moderation!

I remember the first time I made chocolate covered strawberries.
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries Make Memories!
It was for a princess party I was throwing for my two daughters.
They both agreed that a castle cake and chocolate-covered strawberries would be the perfect food for a princess party.
And so, the chocolate dipping strawberry journey began!
A few years later, the same girls decided that chocolate truffles would be pretty perfect too!
Those are kind of my weakness..;0)
But, let’s chat more about the art of dipping strawberries in luscious chocolate.
I made a few mistakes on creating chocolate covered goodies…so don’t repeat mine!
Chocolate Covered Strawberries Tips
Use a fork to lift the strawberry out of the chocolate.
The excess chocolate will drip down through the tines of the fork.
When Dipping Strawberries, Tap your hand, Not the Fork.
Don’t tap the fork on the bowl.
Tapping your hand does less damage to the strawberry.
To Transfer Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, Use a toothpick.
Use this to help transfer the strawberry from the fork to your cookie sheet.
Sprinkles Make Chocolate Dipped Strawberries Prettier!
They hide every imperfection.
And they’re fun.
Use lots of them to decorate your strawberries!
But most importantly, practice and have fun.
I would recommend doing a test run before you plan on making chocolate-covered strawberries for a crowd or party.
You’ll feel better prepared!
And you can always freeze chocolate-dipped strawberries on a cookie sheet and then keep them in a freezer bag after if you want to have a frozen treat late at night.
Oh, and you can make a healthier version if you want to keep these clean!
Make Chocolate Dipped Strawberries Healthier!
Use coconut oil instead of shortening.
A simple switch that still gives great results!
Just like our almond truffles that are made with coconut oil!
To be honest, I love them both ways!
