S’mores Bars that You’ll Drool Over!

These S’mores Bars are Made with Frozen Yogurt and SO Good!

Easy desserts (like these Ritz s’mores) make me smile.

These super-easy frozen yogurt s’mores bars are no exception!

Yes, I did say frozen and s’mores in the same sentence.

Doesn’t that sound ahh-mazing?

Desserts are meant to be indulgent, but don’t you love it when you can throw in a healthy twist?

Hey — everyone needs some extra doses of yogurt sometime, right?

Might as well make it a yummy adventure and make some s’mores!

HOW TO MAKE S’MORES BARS:

#1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Don’t use a higher temperature because these bars are heat sensitive!

#2: Stir sugar into crushed graham cracker crumbs.

Feel free to use brown sugar for a richer crust.

You can also make this gluten free by using gluten free graham crackers!

#3: Add melted butter and stir.

If your crust mix is too crumbly and dry, add a tablespoon or two of additional melted butter.

#4: Press crumbly mixture into one glass, 13×9 baking pan.

You can use another size pan if needed. A 13×9 pan ensures you get bars instead of weirdly shaped pieces. :)

#5: Sprinkle three cups of marshmallows on top of crust.

Add a few more handfuls if you dare!

#6: Bake for eight minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown.

This will smell amazing!

#7: Remove from oven and allow pan to cool completely.

Don’t cut corners on this step! Definitely wait until the pan is cool before moving on.

#8: Mix chopped chocolate, graham cracker pieces into yogurt until smooth.

Drooling yet? I know…we’re almost done! :)

#9: Spread and sprinkle!

Spread filling into cooled pan and sprinkle with leftover toppings (no yumminess left behind!)

#10: Freeze until firm.

You want these bars to be pretty and servile, so definitely wait at least 4 hours before serving!

For Better S’mores Bars We Suggest the Following:

Make sure you grab vanilla-flavored yogurt of this recipe.

I would not use Greek yogurt in this recipe because of the extra strong flavor.

I’m a fan of Greek yogurt — huge fan — but it doesn’t pair well with a dessert bar recipe.

But grab a smooth, vanilla-flavored yogurt and you’re ready to go!

Want to make a gluten-free version?

Sub out the graham crackers with crushed gluten-free pretzels.

Just make sure you freeze the crust before adding the yogurt.

It adds a fun salty crunch to any dessert bar recipe!

Also substitute the pretzels in the filling as well.

Just an easy, gluten-free hacks to keep everyone happy!
