After you make the super quick recipe and le the apple hand pies cool, flash freeze them in the freeze on a parchment-lined cookie sheet (about 20-30 minutes).
Then, place them in a freezer-friendly container (I always place parchment paper between each pie) and freeze up to two months.
To reheat: Bake as the original recipe, but add an additional 5-8 minutes.
You can allow the pastries to thaw for 10-15 minutes before baking if you wish.
