Step 1: Allow Muffins to Cool Completely
If you freeze hot muffins, your muffins will end up less soft and fluffy!
If you want to freeze the muffin batter, pour the batter into a muffin tin lined with cupcake liners.
Step 2: Freeze Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins in a Single Layer
Once the banana triple chocolate muffins have cooled, place them in single layer on a baking sheet. Flash freeze muffins for 30 minutes.
Step 3: Place Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins in a Freezer Bag
Place flash frozen muffins in airtight freezer bags.
Squeeze out any air.

Triple chocolate banana nut muffins have two secret ingredients that make them super moist and chocolatey! It's a recipe that will make your family want to get out of the bed in the morning!
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate milk
- 3 1 1/4 oz hot chocolate mix packets, (instant)
- 3 bananas mashed
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Stir all dry ingredients, except chocolate chips and walnuts, together in a medium mixing bowl.
- Add wet ingredients and whisk mix with wire whisk until smooth.
- Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
- Spoon muffin mixture into 24 greased or lined muffin cups.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of muffins comes out clean.
