How to Make the Best Christmas Tree Pretzels

Always use parchment paper.

Don’t skimp on this and try plastic wrap or worse, aluminum foil.

Just use parchment paper or you’ll end up with a chocolate mess!

This recipe is supposed to be fun!

Christmas tree pretzels are made with prettzel rods, green chocolate and sprinkles! It's a super easy holiday treat that kids and parents love!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz package of pretzel sticks
  • 12 oz package of Wilton greencandy melts
  • Wilton star sprinkles
  • Wilton multi-colored sprinkles
  • 1-2 small sandwich baggies
  • parchment or baking paper

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  2. Pour the green candy melts into a microwave-safe dish. Heat in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring until melted. Remove from the oven and let cool a few minutes.
  3. Line several pretzels up on the baking sheet a few inches apart.
  4. Scoop the melted chocolate into a sandwich baggy. Snip a corner and gently squeeze the chocolate from the sandwich baggy onto the middle top part of the pretzel going back and forth and make a 'tree'.
  5. Place a star on top of the tree. Add multi-colored sprinkles.
  6. Repeat this process until you have your desired amount of Christmas trees.
