With all the cleaning, decorating, and wrapping presents, I love having a five minute, set it and forget it recipe.
It keeps my kitchen cleaner and my stress levels low.

And no one will know it only took 5 minutes to put it together!
I know crock pot candy has been around for nearly forever, but this recipe…it is truly the BEST!
With a few tweaks and trial and errors, the perfect crock pot candy recipe was invented.
And this is it.
TIPS FOR THE BEST CROCK POT CANDY
Candy Making Tip #1: Use the best (or ALMOST the best) chocolate.
Cheap chocolate has more of an oily flavor instead of a rich, chocolate flavor.
It’s the holidays…so use GOOD ingredients!
I recommend using this chocolate!
Candy Making Tip #2: Don’t substitute regular chocolate for almond bark.
The almond bark adds great flavor and helps the candy set up and harden.
Candy Making Tip #3: Use a towel.
Place a clean, dry kitchen towel over the top of the slow cooker and place the lid on top of that.
The towel catches condensation and leaves the candy smooth and in perfect condition.
Candy Making Tip #4: Prepare the Kitchen Counters
Place cookie sheets on your kitchen counter and line them with baking paper so they’re ready for some serious candy making! :)
Candy Making Tip #5: Refridgerate Before Serving
The candies will harden and set up at room temperature, but the process will be less messy and quicker if you utilize your fridge for an hour!.
