Shaving cream
Foam shaving cream would be easier.

School glue
This is easy to find at your local school supplies store.
Food coloring
Orange is the recommended color for the pumpkin craft.

Paint brushes
These are not very expensive and are easily accessible.
Printed Pumpkin on card stock
A printable is provided for the craft.
Cinnamon sticks
This is used for the stem of the pumpkin.

Construction paper
This is optional, but a few pieces could be helpful.
How to Make a Puffy Paint PumpkinS
In a medium bowl, mix shaving cream, glue, and food coloring until incorporated, you now have puffy paint!
Using a paint brush, paint the pumpkins orange including the stem.
Cut a cinnamon stick in half and place it on the stem.
Set out pumpkin to dry.
Once the pumpkin is dry, cut it out and paste it on a piece of construction paper.
Tips How to Make the Best Puffy Paint Pumpkins:
- It is best to paint the pumpkin on card stock.
- Make sure your contact solution has boric acid or the slime will not form.
- You can use a q-tip to clean up the lines on your pumpkin or leave it the way it was created!
What to Make With Leftover Puffy Paint
Did you know you can make homemade slime with puffy paint?
This is a great way to get two crafts out of one!
Add 2 TBS contact solution and 1 teaspoon baking soda to your puffy paint and stir until slime forms.

Ingredients
- 1 cup foam shaving cream
- ¾ cup school glue

Instructions
