Peanut butter cups are a favorite in our house!
I love how this recipe cleans up our favorite treat and only uses a few ingredients!
Plus, you can personalize these with almost any topping you’d love on a homemade peanut butter cup!

Ingredients Needed for Peanut Butter Cups
- Peanut Butter (use the healthiest one you can find!)
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1/2 Chopped Peanuts
- Sea Salt
- Optional: When you add the chopped peanuts, cut back on the peanuts and add mini chocolate chips or flaked coconut…or even sprinkles!
Can You Freeze Homemade Peanut Butter Cups?
Absolutely! Once chilled, place in a freezer-friendly container and place parchment paper between pieces.
Store in freezer for up to two months.

Ingredients
- 2 Cups Peanut Butter
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1/2 Chopped Peanuts
- Sea Salt
Instructions
- Place Peanut Butter, Coconut Oil, and Maple Syrup in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat until melted.
- Whisk mixture until smooth.
- Pour peanut butter mixture into a cupcake pan that has been lined with baking cups. Only fill about two tablespoons per cup to keep these "thin" or "skinny"
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts and sea salt on top of peanut butter (optional)
- Chill 2 hours or until firm.
- Remove from the fridge and enjoy!
- Store in a container in the fridge or in the freezer.
