How to Make Tik Tok Cinnamon Rolls Even Better

When it comes to cinnamon rolls, our family is kind of snobby.

We really prefer from scratch cinnamon rolls.

But these really do the job.

It’s pretty magical when you add the whipping cream!

However, if you want to make them even better…

Even creamier…

Even more indulgent…

I recommend making your own cream cheese icing.

Here’s a super simple recipe you can use:

  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Blend those ingredients together until smooth and spread on the Tik Tok Cinnamon rolls.

It’s like a little piece of foodie heaven!

Can You Freeze Tik Tok Cinnamon Rolls?

We do not recommend freezing these cinnamon rolls since they’re not from scratch.

Feel free to make homemade cream cheese frosting 12 hours or one day ahead if you need to save some prep time.

Can I Use Milk or Half and Half?

No, we do not recommend using anything besides whipping cream.

You need the extra creaminess to make the canned cinnamon rolls taste homemade!

Additional Topping Ideas for Tik Tok Cinnamon Rolls:

The last five minutes of baking, you can add walnuts or pecans.

Also, drizzle some maple cinnamon or caramel on top for a fun twist!
