Two Ingredient Banana Bread Muffins

These protein muffins taste like your favorite banana bread, but pack protein into every bite!

When mornings are super busy, we like to grab one of our favorite freezer-friendly breakfasts.

Those are typically:

  • Freezer Protein Muffins
  • Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches (We use protein English muffins or whole wheat English muffins)
  • Homemade Freezer Waffles
  • Homemade Apple Turnovers

Last week, we made a batch of the protein muffins and wanted to share them with you!

Plus, we want to thank Naked Bake for sponsoring this incredibly easy recipe!

These protein muffins took us just minutes to make.

Once you make a batch yourself, go ahead and make ANOTHER batch to freeze!

That’s what busy moms do…multi-task!

I often make 3-4 meals at once so I’m not cooking or baking all day.

These are so simple my teens and kids make them too!

Plus, we use Naked Bake banana bread protein mix, which can be used for shakes, pancakes, or muffins!

Plus, we know we’re getting 15 grams of protein and only 5 grams of sugar in each serving!

We also love that this company makes sure they’re not hiding artificial sweeteners, flavors, or color.

Can you Freeze Banana Bread Protein Muffins?

Absolutely!

Once muffins are cooled, flash freeze muffins on a cookie sheet and place in the freezer.

After flash freezing muffins, wrap each muffin in parchment paper and place in a freezer-friendly storage bag.

Label the bag with the date you prepared the muffins and add reheating instructions.

How to Reheat Frozen, Protein Muffins

Allow frozen muffins to thaw.

Once thawed, you can enjoy at room temperature or reheat in the oven.

To reheat in the oven, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake on a cookie sheet for 5 minutes, or until warm.
